work: i usually manage my work timeframes relatively well. march has been looming like a potential nightmare of "a perfect storm" dimensions and indeed appears to be eventuating. one project at least is often held up for any number of reasons but presently i have six projects requiring immediate attention. to be perfectly frank, i am not sure which one to work on first.
fitness: mr assemblage and i have registered to run in this at the end of this month. a worthy cause and good motivation to exercise. unfortunately i have a strained itb [not some strange component of my hard drive but the band of muscle on the outside of my right thigh to my knee] and i am not feeling confident about my ability to run in 3 weeks, let alone complete the course. to be perfectly frank, strained itb + misaligned kneecap = severe pain.
and my knitting: my eagerly anticipated habu kit is not quite what i expected. at this early stage, i am pleased with the pattern - i like the knitted texture and subtle slip stitch detail. however, my concept of knitting has always been that it is a quiet and leisurely pursuit. but, to be perfectly frank, this yarn rustles. uh huh.
yes, this yarn comes with sound effects.
now, please excuse me while i go and turn up the music.
