only one real variation to the kit pattern: i added an extra pattern repeat to each side of the back to give some extra width ( i was mostly concerned that the neck may be too tight and with this paper yarn).
oh, and an extra couple of pattern repeats to the length, too.
with plenty of remaining yarn on the cones (and a plan in mind for it).
and yes, the top does rustle. but not alarmingly so. and i think with time, it will soften and thus become quiet.
for me, a lovely layering piece. the yarns have combined beautifully in colour - a rich warm grey. i love the neckline. i love the buttons - subtle and elegant. perfect.
