my design for brooklyn tweed | wool people

so thrilled to be invited to participate with such excellent company!

 

my design is based on stephen holl's horizontal skyscraper:

a bold, hovering, linear megastructure with projecting built forms.

 

referenced here with reverse stocking stitch

to provide a monolithic fabric;

horizontal linework

and articulated arm elements.

 

design features:

slashed boat neck,

dolman shaping,

[optional] extra long sleeves

[with optional thumbhole detail],

and a slim waist to balance the design aesthetic.
