i'm keen to encourage manufacturer's of exceptional yarn.

particularly:

yarn that is environmentally friendly,

animal friendly,

local.

AND truly fabulous to knit with.

what's not to love?!

to [re]apply

a few dawning realisations :

: my pathetic and almost non-existent makeup routine is stuck in some serious early 90s styling. or the lack thereof.

: as i *cough* approach my 4th decade, my no-makeup routine is simply not cutting it.

: i need to apply makeup when presenting myself to a client.

: i really, really need be using SPF 30+ every. single. day. forthwith.

a few makeup requirements/preferences  :

: something 'barely' there, natural but modern?

: light but protective.

: critically - quick and easy!

: perhaps a makeup consultation?

: environmentally sensitive.

: too much to ask?

any ideas? suggestions?

volunteer army

the SALVATION ARMY need a"volunteer army" to assist the bushfire relief effort.

a wonderful opportunity to assist in a practical way that will not cost you a cent.

to do:
volunteering some time to sort clothing, pack boxes, etc.

venue:
500 princes highway, noble park
[and i understand there is also need at the clayton distribution centre, too]

times:
sat 14 feb 9.30am - 1.30pm
sat 14 feb 1 - 5pm
sun 15 feb 10.30am - 2.30pm
mon 16 feb 6.30 - 9.30om

details:
volunteers must be over 18 years of age
sign a volunteer form (that i can email you)
and get in touch with me so i can forward the contact details directly to you (to phone the supervisor so she can manage numbers and arrange refreshments)

also:
someone to donate sausages, bread, onions, cheese,tomato sauce
bbq cooks! (under 18 years of age okay)
